Based on the oh-so-politically-incorrectly named Boston cocktail the Irish Car Bomb which contains the trinity of Irish booze- a rich Guinness Chocolate Cupcake topped with a Bailey’s Irish Cream Buttercream and filled and drizzled with Jameson Whiskey Ganache- these cupcakes are deserving of their own choir of angels. You’ll have a choice of decorating your cupcakes with Mona Lisa Chocolate Crispies, St. Patrick’s Day themed sprinkles and/or Callebaut Chocolate Vermicelli (the seriously good stuff!)
Not for the faint hearted - you’ll get to sample your instructor’s cupcakes and take yours home to enjoy with an Irish Coffee on St. Patrick’s Day…these cupcakes improve with age, if you can keep your forks off of them long enough.

We’ll start the class by making a batch of dough for our Crusty Bread Bowls, and while the dough is rising, we’ll move on to preparing our ingredients for the Hearty Beef Bourguignon followed by a delicious, Seasonal Fruit Crisp for dessert.
Beef Bourguignon is such a wonderful dish with tender, fall apart chunks of beef simmered in a rich, red wine gravy flavored with a selection of fresh herbs and vegetables. The bread bowl recipe can be adapted to smaller dinner rolls or even baked in a loaf pan. And finally, the Fruit Crisp recipe is so versatile and quick you’ll want to use it all year ‘round!

You’ll make a full batch of Eggnog and use a little to make the Eggnog Custard to create your luscious Brioche Eggnog Bread Pudding the perfect make ahead recipe to round out a holiday meal or the star of a frosty* winter morning brunch when you have a house full of guests! Handmade Pasta and Sicilian Meatballs
In this class Angela and Rory will teach you how to make a classic egg pasta dough and create your choice of fettuccini, linguini or hand-cut pasta strands! While your pasta dough is resting, you’ll learn how to make Sicilian Style Meatballs using a mix of meats, herbs and a secret ingredient or two! Finally, you’ll make Angela’s Sicilian Tomato Sauce (or gravy…we can even attempt to resolve the age old sauce vs gravy debate over dessert.)
You'll finish the class with full size portions of your delicious pasta, sauce and meatballs, our in house focaccia (which is perfect for mopping up any leftover sauce!) and of course, a FABulous dessert! Ever had a Mexican Mudslide Cocktail? If not, think boozy Mexican Hot Chocolate meets a creamy milkshake- Chocolate, Kahlua, Amaretto, Cinnamon, and a few other spices to bring the heat all blended together with creamy vanilla ice cream. Well, Angela was left unattended the other day and decided to turn the cocktail into a cake...and then decided to have a bit of fun with the decorations. You'll make a delectable, Mexican Hot Chocolate Spiced* Cake, a Kahlua and Amaretto infused Chocolate Pudding Filling and a Spiced* Chocolate Buttercream (you can even add some more booze here if you like.)
*Spices can be adjusted to suit your tastes. Non-alchocolic options also available in place of the Kahlua and
Once your cake is cooled, filled and crumb coated, you’ll create and paint your sugar skulls and learn to create a striped pattern and some festive piping around the side of your cake.

Come along and learn how to make traditional Jaffa cakes. Known as ‘biscuits’ in the UK and Ireland and called ‘cookies’ in the United States, these treats are a bit of a conundrum as they are neither. They do, however, have a layer of sponge cake topped with sweet orange jelly and finished off with sumptuous chocolate. These little disks of sunshine are hard to resist so we recommend installing a safe in your pantry before attending this class. As you’re making all the components from scratch, you can customize your cake by adding in some orange zest and jazz up your jelly with a bit of Cointreau for a boozy kick too!

Join Rory McEllin this St. Patrick’s Day and learn to make two traditional Irish Soda Breads - one sweet & one savory - in this hands-on class. Plus, while your breads are baking, you’ll make a batch of Rory’s delicious Potato and Parsnip Soup with Chorizo Croutons! These recipes are so delicious, even our young picky eater enjoys them!
At the end of the class, you'll enjoy a sampling the instructor’s cheesy and sweet breads plus a hearty bowl of soup. You won’t have to make dinner tonight (or lunch tomorrow) as you get to bring home all your baked goods (and SOUP!) to impress your friends and family!
This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo types:
YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child
YES: Couples/Roommates
YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.)
*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two buddies sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day- don’t fret, it’s enough for a family of four! (Don’t worry, we won’t stick you with some random stranger- if you want to fly solo, you’ll have the station (and all the yummy food) all to yourself!)
We provide aprons, recipes, all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging.

Based on the oh-so-politically-incorrectly named Boston cocktail the Irish Car Bomb which contains the trinity of Irish booze- Guinness, Bailey’s Irish Cream and Jameson Whiskey- this cake is deserving of its own choir of angels.
Not for the faint hearted or any minors (sorry kids) you’ll get to sample your instructor’s cake after lunch and take yours home to enjoy with an Irish Coffee on St. Patrick’s Day…this cake improves with age, if you can keep your forks off of it long enough.
You are welcome to BYOB for this fun Dynamic Duo friendly class (Please drink responsibly!) If you’re lucky, you might even learn an Irish song or two.
