Pernilla Engberg is a chef & entrepreneur who has been active in the food industry for over 20 years. She has worked in everything from fine dining to smaller privately owned companies.

Her experience ranges from working in various types of restaurants to currently running her own catering company & home-based restaurant Casa Linoska Gastronomy & Catering in the heart of Malung/Sweden where she focuses on the farm to table method, she places a lot of focus on green cuisine and first-class ingredients from the plant kingdom but also ethical meat, fish & poultry both locally and worldly sourced, she works a lot with texture and taste and strives to always give the customer a sensory experience beyond the ordinary.

Her long career has given her a deep understanding & knowledge of everything in the gastronomic world, she is known for her creative use of local ingredients and her ability to combine traditional and non-traditional flavors with modern and innovative techniques.

She has a deep love for cooking and a strong connection to her roots, which inspired her to create a business that celebrates her family's history and traditions. The house where her restaurant resides was built in the 40s by her great-grandmother & grandfather who in turn were named Linnea & Oskar hence the name Casa Linoska.

Her roots extend from Panama's deepest jungle on her mother's side, Sweden's deepest valleys to Norway's northernmost peaks on her father's side, so she was characterized by a great respect for raw materials, food & its availability.

Her cooking style is often described as playful, unpretentious but with high quality assurance and a strong sense of taste!
