  • Florida Academy of Baking 1370 Florida A1A Satellite Beach, FL, 32937 United States (map)

Sunday, October 16, 2022 | 10:00AM - 4:00PM

$199.00 (Includes Lunch)

Join Henna Artist Mariah Alverese for a fun Sunday Making, Baking and Decorating from start to finish a selection of Autumn Henna Cookies in your choice of Fall Flavors like Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Bun or classic Gingerbread (or go rouge and raid Angela’s Flavor Selection.) You’ll start by making your favorite fall flavor No-Spread Cookie Dough, cutting out your favorite Autumn shapes, learning the secret to baking using the No-Spread technique and making a batch of flood and piping consistency Royal Icing in Autumn Colors.

You’ll go home with all the recipes, templates and designs to recreate these delightful seasonal classics at home- plus all your beautiful creations! Perfect for gift giving (teachers really love receiving cookies), or sharing with your friends and neighbors. Best of all, you’ll get to sample your instructor’s goodies along with a cup of tea (or hot cocoa!) while your cookies are drying.

This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo types:

YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child (this is a full day class, so more suited to older children (12+) or younger children (8+) with a real interest in baking.)

YES: Couples/Roommates (live in the same household)

YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.)

*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two people sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day.

We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging.

This is a full-day class, please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.
