Join Etiquette Consultant and restauranteur Jayne Withers for a wonderful afternoon learning the etiquette surrounding, and enjoying all the flavors of a proper British Style Afternoon Cream Tea. You’ll make a set of dainty cream and jam filled mini Victoria Sponge Cakes and while your cakes are cooling, you’ll learn the secrets to creating those impossibly delicate Cream Cheese and Cucumber Sandwiches.

Once all the baking is out of the way, you’ll enjoy a full British Style Afternoon Cream Tea, complete with a selection of teas, vintage tea stands and delicious treats. Your three tier tea stand will also include our in-house sausage rolls and mini scones and Jayne’s gingerbread loaves and raspberry mousse filled chocolate cups. This is a perfect class to do as a Dynamic Duo/Friend’s Day Out/Date Night (or afternoon delight!)

Best of all, you’ll take home your remaining Victoria Sponge Cakes and Cream Cheese and Cucumber Sandwiches to share (or not) with your friends and family.

This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo* types:

YES: Couples (live in the same household)

YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.)

*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two people sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day.

We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging.

Please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.
