Holiday Glaze Cookie Class

Join guest instructor Maxine Lauer of Chips Galore Cookies and More for an intensive hands-on class making and using glaze icing.

Maxine will provide you with a selection of pre-baked cookies in a variety of adorable holiday shapes ready to decorate. You’ll also learn to make the glaze and get a copy of the cookie and glaze recipes to take home so you can recreate your cookies for years to come!

You’ll learn the difference between glaze icing vs. royal icing; make your own batch of glaze icing; learn to fill a piping bag without mess; how to outline and flood a cookie using glaze icing; how to decorate wet on wet, wet on dry and/or wet next to dry; and finally, you’ll get to use an airbrush to highlight and use a stencil to add designs.

This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo types:

YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child - PLEASE NOTE: This class requires a certain level of dexterity, therefore it is more suitable for accompanied older children (12+)

YES: Couples (live in the same household)

YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.)

We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging.
