Apple Strudel and Creme Anglaise Custard Sauce - Come along and learn to make TWO Apfelstrudel (German Apple Strudel!) Although it might sound daunting, it’s much easier than it seems and so much fun to make. And the resulting apple strudel is a delicious, festive dessert filled with sweet, spiced apples, raisins and nuts (optional) in a flaky crust that everyone will love. To make them even more festive, we’ll have drunken spiced cherries and cranberries to stud through your apples! Strudel is perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert- particularly if served with a delicious Creme Anglaise Custard Sauce- which you’ll also learn how to make. Holiday Biscotti (Two Ways!) Class - Learn to bake TWO varieties of this Italian cookie that is first baked in a loaf and then cut into slices and baked again. The resulting cookies are crunchy and are excellent when served with coffee, tea, or cappuccino. Profiteroles (Cream Puffs) - From Choux Pastry to a delicious Semifreddo filling and decadent Chocolate Sauce, you'll learn everything you need to make these gorgeous artisan Profiteroles - the sophisticated older cousin to the cream puff. You'll take home a box filled with delicious treats to share with your friends and family- or not, we won't judge! Blondies vs Brownies - Come along and answer the age old debate…Blondies or Brownies which is better? What if we combined them? What would we call them? Brondies? Blownies? You’ll make TWO trays to take home and with a huge variety of add ins and flavor options you’re sure to find an option to delight your friends and family! Schnecken! Oh My! - Ooey, gooey and oh so cinnamony! Schnecken means ‘Snail’ in German and these German Cinnamon Rolls are so named because their beautiful swirls look like a snail’s shell. They are so dangerously delicious I only make them twice a year at home and the children are drooling for days beforehand. Come along and learn the secrets to these beauties…but you better not go at a snail’s pace or you’ll miss out! Traditional Irish Scones (Sweet & Savory) - In this hands-on class, you'll learn to make light as a feather Traditional Cream, Fruit and Savory Cheese Scones, a Triple Berry Quick Jam and Chantilly Cream! Chocolate Malt Cookies 'n' Cream Tarts - You’ll learn to make a three layer dark chocolate cookie base (like Oreo- only better!) filled with a delicious malt flavored cookies ‘n’ cream filling. Lebkuchen Chocolate Amaretto Tart - Kick off the festive season with this delicious Boozy Bake twist on a German holiday classic- Lebkuchen! This spiced soft gingerbread crust is filled with a rich, creamy Dark Chocolate Boozy Ganache filled with chopped hazelnuts and almonds and Amaretto soaked cherries, cranberries and candied orange peel! You’ll top your tart with some delicious decorated gingerbread cookies, chocolate embellishments and edible gold stars. Bakewell Tarts - Come along to this hands on class and learn to bake this most English of confections consisting of a shortcrust pastry shell beneath layers of handmade jam, sweet almond flavored frangipane custard, and a topping of flaked almonds. It is a variant of the Bakewell pudding, closely associated with the town of Bakewell in Derbyshire. Artisan Cookie Sandwiches - Who doesn't love Chocolate Chip Cookies? Sandwich some delicious ice cream in between and you have a match made in heaven! In this hands-on class, you will learn to make a batch of our delicious Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies (the same recipe we used for The Jumbo Cookie Company!) plus we'll show you how to vary the ingredients slightly for a whole new flavor explosion. You’ll also get to make a batch of Ice Cream Sandwiches (we’ll have a selection of ice cream flavors to choose from, so you can mix and match!)
